Welcome to our latest Alarm IT Factory newsletter! In this issue, you get exciting news and information about the Alarm Control Center (ACC). We will inform you about the upcoming service pack for ACC V25, new compatibility releases and interesting events such as Transform 2025 and SPS 2025. The first service pack for ACC V25 will be released at the end of March. Thanks to your feedback, we have been able to make targeted improvements to the current version. We would like to thank you for your support.
The following optimizations are included in Service Pack 1:
|
|
- Improved compatibility with SQL Server 2022
- Compatibility with SIMATIC WinCC OA 3.20
- Support of redundant OPC UA servers by the OPC UA agent
- Extension of alarm filters: Follow-up message filters can be set permanently
- ACC Control extension: Improved search and filter options
|
|
The service pack includes all hotfixes released to date. In addition, minor bug fixes and improvements have been made to further increase the stability and performance of the ACC.
Information for ACC contract customers
Contract customers will receive further information on the service pack in an extra support mailing after the release - including the corresponding download link. If you have any questions, please contact our sales team at sales@alarmcontrolcenter.de.

New compatibility releases for
ACC V25 & ACC V25.1
Our current ACC versions ACC V25 and ACC V25.1 are compatible with the following systems:
- SIMATIC WinCC V8.1
- TIA V20 RT PRO
- TIA V20 WinCC Unified

Siemens Water Day
On February 27, 2025, the Water Day Bavaria took place at the Siemens site in Amberg. In a workshop, we presented our ACC to a specialist audience of around 45 end customers, planners and integrators from the water and wastewater industry. The great interest in our solution was reflected in numerous questions and lively discussions.
In addition, two new small system pilot projects were presented that were successfully implemented with the ACC. An extremely successful event with valuable exchanges!

Transform 2025
On March 13, 2025, Siemens' new flagship event, Transform 2025, will take place at StageOne in Zurich - and we will be represented as an official Siemens partner with our own stand.
Under the motto “How do we shape the future digitally & sustainably?”, participants can expect a day full of innovations, expert presentations and exciting discussions with leading minds from business and technology.

SPS 2025
Safe the Date! This year we will once again be represented at SPS 2025 in Nuremberg – and this time even with a double stand! From November 25 to 27, 2025, you will find us at the joint stand “Automation meets IT”. At the trade fair, we will take the opportunity to present the then newly released version ACC V26.
It's still a while away, but mark the date in your calendar now. We look forward to meeting you there and giving you exciting insights into our solutions!

Upcoming discontinuation:
ACC V22
ACC version V22 will be discontinued on October 31, 2025.
After discontinuation, no more extensions will be available for this version. Technical support will also be discontinued.

Switch-off of the 2G network by Deutsche Telekom by summer 2028
Deutsche Telekom has announced that it will shut down its GSM network (2G technology) in Germany by summer 2028.

Should you still use mobile terminals that only support the 2G network for SMS alerting via the ACC, please consider updating your hardware and, if necessary, your ACC system in good time. Please check your devices at an early stage to ensure uninterrupted use.
